HOST AN EVENT
HOST AN EVENT
Is there a need for a course in your area?
Teen drivers everywhere can benefit from a little extra driver safety training. If you would like to make our courses available to your students, let’s work together to make it happen, and help improve teen driver safety.
The courses we offer through Altitude are without a doubt, the best value in teen driver training. The best curriculum, best instructors, and by far the best price. But without hosts that are as excited about what we’re doing as we are, there are a lot of teen drivers missing out.
Because these courses are specifically intended for high school age drivers, it makes sense that we hold them at high schools. We can obviously rent any high school parking lot we want, but we’re interested in more than just a place to drive. We want to partner with hosts who are eager to spread the word to their students, parents, and even ask neighboring schools to do the same.
Working together, we can get this training in front of as many teens as possible. These courses don’t just benefit the teens. They also benefit the parents through the peace of mind of knowing their kid is safer on the road, and even benefit the schools in a number of ways. Any school that has experienced the trauma of losing a student to a traffic accident knows first hand how valuable training like this is.
If you would like to host an event, or talk to us in more detail about it, please reach out.
Let’s work together to make teen drivers safer on the road
Any high school, church, youth organization, or any other group that has enough student interest to fill events, and has access to a suitable parking lot facility.
In addition to helping young drivers become safer on the road, hosting an event can directly benefit your school too.
Parents get to see how seriously the host takes the issues related to teen driving, and sees that you care enough to go above and beyond to make their teens safer.
We put additional money into the schools by renting the parking lots that would otherwise be unused.
There is no cost to host a course, but we do have a few stipulations. The only way we can afford to charge so little for these courses is if we can fill classes. That means we need help getting the word out to parents, to enable us to get 16-20 students signed up for an event.
We ask that schools take an active role in spreading the word to their parents, making them aware of the course, and the benefits it provides to their teens. There are many ways that this can be accomplished, and we’re happy to discuss options and ideas.
If we can get enough of a turnout for an event at a particular location, we are happy to come back and do it again as regularly as student interest requires.
Students, and a parking lot. That’s it, in a nutshell.
Each event consists of two 3 hour classes – one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Each class has a maximum capacity of 10 students. We like to be sure that anywhere we hold an event, we can get a total of 16-20 students between the two classes. We need support from the host to spread the word about the upcoming course, so we can fill it.
We need exclusive use of a clean, empty, paved parking lot for about 9 hours (7am to 4pm). We can modify our course based on parking lot shape, etc., to a degree. A typical large high school parking lot will usually work great. We can take a look at your parking lot initially on Google Maps to determine whether or not it will work for our needs.
