In order for us to conduct a defensive driving/crash avoidance class, a minimum number of students must be registered for a particular date to cover the associated costs. If we do not reach the minimum number of students by 72 hours prior to the scheduled date, we reserve the right to transfer your registration to a later scheduled course at a location and date of your choice. If this situation does arise, we will notify you by email at that time. If due to weather we consider conditions to be too dangerous to safely conduct a driving lesson or defensive driving/crash avoidance class or for the students to travel to the class, we reserve the right to reschedule the lesson/transfer your registration to a later scheduled course at a location and date of your choice. Obviously not all Colorado weather is expected, so the decision to cancel due to weather may be made as late as the morning of the course or lesson. We understand that some parents want their students to get more practice in inclement weather, but the risk cannot outweigh the benefit. If for any reason you need to transfer your defensive driving/crash avoidance class registration to a different course date or location, please let us know as soon as possible. Transfer requests received within 72 hours of the scheduled course will incur a $50 transfer fee. If you determine that you can no longer attend a defensive driving/crash avoidance class and would like a refund, all refund requests must be made at least 72 hours before the scheduled course date. The amount refunded will be the total paid, minus a $25 processing fee. No refunds will be given after 72 hours before the course. No refund or transfer will be given to any student who begins a defensive driving class and leaves before completion; any student who is a “no call – no show” for a class, or if we are not notified of their absence before class begins; or for any other service purchased that has been partially used and which Altitude is willing and able to complete providing the service. If you are scheduled for any driving lesson, you need to notify us at least 48 hours in advance if you will not be able to make it. If you request to reschedule or cancel within 48 hours of the lesson, or are a no show at the time of the lesson, you will be subject to a $95 fee which must be paid before scheduling any other lessons. No refund will be given for any driving lessons where we are willing and able to provide the lessons, but you do not like the scheduling options. Please be aware that we do schedule driving lessons seven days a week, but weekends and after school hours regularly get booked out far in advance, as they are the most convenient options. As is noted on the registration page, if you have any concern about how soon we can get your lessons scheduled and completed, you need to check with us before registering.
