My son did not want to take it but was glad afterwards. He learned more than he expected and had a lot of fun while learning important safety skills (like sliding on an icy/wet surface) that we are too nervous to teach him. - Heather

We live in the mountains and I was concerned about my son driving on snowy, icy roads. The skid training was great and all of the other obstacles and challenges improved my son's confidence behind the wheel and my comfort in letting him drive alone. - Heidi

Altitude Driver Safety Foundation's driving course for high schoolers was a valuable experience for our teen! She gained confidence after participating in the program. Her confidence helped me, as a parent, be more comfortable and confident in letting her drive on her own. I would undoubtedly encourage any parent to sign their new driver up for this course. - R

She first did a course at Castleview High, but then we sent her for a full day track course. It is so worth it! She has been able to drive with ease with the crazy Colorado drivers thanks to Altitude?❤️ if you are thinking of the track course, JUST DO IT! - Sally

When we got in the car immediately after my son had a tremendous amount of confidence. Much different than even in the hours just before. He drove like he had been driving for years and was extremely comfortable. What most impressed me was his awareness it completely changed. He was much more confident in his mirrors much more aware about backing up and the things he needed to do to perform that maneuver and just drive with ease. I’m very thankful for this program. - Stan

Our son took this course and was reluctant at first. Three hours later he had nothing but GOOD things to say. He felt a lot more confident in his car and said the track was very well structured. There were enough kids not too many to where all got a lot of reps in. He enjoyed the parallel parking the most and the session in the demo car one which he learned how to maintain control of the car as it was skidding which will be critical in the winter. I strongly recommend this course to any permit driver! Money well spent!! - NICOLE

My daughter really enjoyed the course and felt it helped her understand what the vehicle she will be driving could do and how it felt in different driving situations. She was very surprised by how the vehicle handled through the course, she said "she didn't know it could do that". The guys were GREAT! I can not say enough about how nice and fun they made it for the kids. I will certainly let my daughter do this again after she's been driving on her own a while, great course to build confidence, knowledge and have a little fun. - Mike

My teen really enjoyed this course. She has several years under her belt already but learned the skills that are unfortunately just not taught. She feels so much more confident when it comes to severe weather and having to avoid potential accidents.

This course costs upwards of over $500 in the corporate world. This is an amazing and affordable option to give your kid some potential life saving skills! - Kim

Our daughter enjoyed the class. She enjoyed driving the skid car, as well as all the backward practice (both parking and driving). She said she learned things she hasn't been able to learn with us (parents) and feels more confident. Our son did the course at the track last year, and that is also fantastic. There's so much backwards parking practice! I suggest either class to all new drivers. - R.C.

He is still in his permit phase and close to his license, and it was really helpful on the backing, skid control, and learning car performance limitations. He was especially complimentary of the instructors and the learning environment. Well worth it to gain this experience in ways that we can't normally provide. - Oren
