These are general areas. We like to keep the pick up and drop off within 30 minutes of our office at 7562 S University Blvd, Centennial. If you are further out, that’s ok, but we may ask you to work with us, and meet somewhere a little closer. Have any questions about this, let’s talk.

How far out are lessons booked?

Weekend and after school time slots may be booked out as far as a month, depending on the time of year. Whereas time slots during school hours may be available as early as a few days out. If you need to get lessons taken care of right away and are wondering how far out we are booked, please reach out to info@altitudedriving.com and we can let you know.

AFTER YOU REGISTER…

After you have completed registration, you can log in to your account for more details, and to begin drivers ed, schedule driving lessons, etc.

NOTE: If you just signed up for the defensive driving course, you don’t need to login or do anything else. We will email you additional information about a week prior to the course.

DEFENSIVE DRIVING

The Defensive Driving & Crash Avoidance course is currently held at the following locations: Castle View, Eaglecrest, Jeffco Stadium, Pine Creek, Ponderosa, and Rock Canyon.

DEFENSIVE DRIVING & CRASH AVOIDANCE COURSE – 3 HOURS

This 3-hour course is open to anyone between the ages of 15 and 25 with a permit (and at least 30 hours logged), or a license. We teach a variety of skills that drivers ed talks about but gives no hands on experience with. Morning classes are 8:50am to 12:00pm, and afternoon classes are 12:20pm to 3:30pm. This course requires the student to bring their own vehicle.

After you complete your purchase, you will receive a link to access the online course, to get started on your journey. After you complete the drivers ed course and get your permit, you will be able to log in, and schedule your behind-the-wheel drives.

PACKAGE 2 – INCLUDES ONLINE DRIVERS ED COURSE, 6 HOUR BEHIND-THE-WHEEL, AND THE DEFENSIVE DRIVING COURSE

30 Hour Online, 6 Hour Behind-the-Wheel, and Defensive Driving

FREE ONLINE DRIVERS ED!!! This package includes the 30 Hour Online Drivers Ed Course, the 6 Hour Behind-the-Wheel training, and the 3 hour Defensive Driving & Crash Avoidance Course. After you complete your purchase, you will receive a link to access the online course, to get started on your journey. After you complete the drivers ed course and get your permit, you will be able to log in and schedule your behind-the-wheel drives. When you have logged at least 30 hours of driving with your permit, reach out to us and we’ll get you scheduled for the defensive driving course.

PACKAGE 3 – INCLUDES 6 HOUR BEHIND-THE-WHEEL, AND THE DEFENSIVE DRIVING COURSE

6 Hour Behind-the-Wheel and Defensive Driving

This package includes the 6 Hour Behind-the-Wheel training, and the 3 hour Defensive Driving & Crash Avoidance Course. This is for drivers who already have their permit. After you complete your purchase, you will be able to log in and schedule the drives. When you have logged at least 30 hours of driving with your permit, reach out to us and we’ll get you scheduled for the defensive driving course.

INDIVIDUAL SERVICES

30 HOUR DRIVERS ED COURSE – ONLINE

$75.00

This online course allows the student to complete the 30 hour Drivers Ed requirement at their own pace. No need to sit in a classroom and zone out after a couple of hours. This way they can log in when they’re actually in the mood to learn and focus. Once this course has been completed, the DMV will be automatically notified. After that the student will be able to complete the written permit test online at home or at the DMV, and then get their permit.

FIRST DRIVE – 2 HOURS

This 2 hour driving lesson is intended to be the absolute first step in the student’s hands-on driver training. If they have received little to no time behind the wheel, and you want them to start off with a strong foundation of skills to build on, this is what you need. This drive will be completed at a high school parking lot near you, and will introduce them to the absolute basics – starting, stopping, steering, and overall vehicle control. NOTE: This drive does not count towards the state requirement of 6 hours behind-the-wheel. After you register, you will…

6 HOUR BEHIND-THE-WHEEL

Two 3 hour drives that satisfy the State of Colorado’s requirement for obtaining a license. We recommend completing one drive early in the student’s training, and the second one later on so we can work on fixing any bad habits, and get them ready for the driving test. After you register, you will be able to login to your account and schedule the drives.

2 HOUR DRIVING LESSON

This is an additional two hour driving lesson for those looking for a little additional training. It does not count towards any state mandated behind-the-wheel training. After you register, you will be able to login to your account and schedule the drive.
